Job Description
The position is responsible for implementing employee engagement programs and provide advice, counsel and resolution on a broad range of employee issues, policy interpretation, work conditions and employee development
Employee Engagement:
- Plans and implements employee engagement programs to promote a positive working environment
- Monitors budget compliance versus actual cost for each engagement activity
- Conducts engagement survey to measure the effectiveness of each activity
- Analyses the results of the survey and communicate the results to the Management
- Conducts Induction Training for new hires
- Administer onboarding feedback to all new hires
- Drafts new hire and promotion announcement
- Monitors all submitted employee resignations and notify Payroll for salary to be hold
- Schedules and conducts exit interviews
- Routes employee exit clearances
Employee Relations:
- Handles employee concerns and labor issues
- Deals with employee grievances and implements disciplinary procedures
- Drafts notices such as notice to explain, notice of decision and termination letters
- Conducts administrative hearing and records the minutes of the meeting
- Provides advice to the line managers in interpreting HR policies and employment laws
Performance Management:
- Monitors employee 3rd and 5th month performance evaluation
- Prepares letter to confirm employee regularization
- Reviews performance evaluations submitted by the line managers
Vendor Management:
- Monitors and tracks contracts agreement
- Ensures timely payment of billings
- Evaluates vendors performance on a quarterly basis
Reports:
- Ensures timely submission of monthly headcount, attrition and demographics reports
- Prepares and submits monthly Labor Stationer Monitoring Report to DOLE and PEZA
- Files IT starter and IT leaver ticket for new hires and resigned employees
Others:
- Participates in the development, updating and dissemination of HR policies
- Contributes to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources / psychology / behavior al science course
- At least 3-5yrs working experience handling employee engagement and employee relations
- Knowledgeable in DOLE employment laws
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Can do attitude, ability to cope with tight deadlines and working under pressure
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exhibits sound work ethics
- Advance skills in MS Excel
- Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint
