JOB DESCRIPTION: Global HR Systems Specialist

Department: Human Resources (Group)          

Reports to: Global Head, HR Systems & Reporting

Responsibilities (how we will measure success)

HR Systems Specialist responsible for providing overall support with a high level of knowledge and skills for indicated area/s of HR Systems remit.  Coordinates, maintains and enhances system configuration and related process activity to support the Global HR and HR Systems agenda.  Educates and embeds best practices and resolves issues in a timely and competent manner.

Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)

  • Support technical and operational aspects of the HR systems global agenda.  
  • Serve as a trusted subject matter expert on HR Technology for primary area of HR Systems responsibility.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders on issues, feedback, requirements, process, change and improvement proposals.
  • Document, maintain and improve HR systems processes and procedures for core area of responsibility.
  • Manage & maintain all system administration tasks (primarily for core specialism). Including but not limited to: workflow, permissions, core configuration.
  • Review and thoroughly test, impact assess system update impacts & ensure test system is aligned with production.
  • Keep up to date with HR technology through training, research.
  • Provide HR teams / other system users with support & training where required and guidance on best practices as an SME. 
  • Work closely with external HR system partner(s) to track logged tickets to completion (e.g. re. errors, enhancements, general queries or issues). 
  • Delivery of regular/ ad hoc reporting and data requirements across all group locations. 
  • Support on M&A / Project / Integration activities as required.  
  • Manage & maintain HR Systems mailbox effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Demonstrated experience working on HR Systems in a specialist role
  • Strong educational background
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills 
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Ability to be flexible and work effectively as part of a team 
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work in a knowledgeable
  • and logical way 
  • High level of people skills 
  • Proven ability working independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
