Fund Accounting Officer

Job Description

What you'll do

  • You’ll manage a portfolio of private equity and real estate fund clients, ensuring accurate accounting through systems such as Paxus, Demasy, Investran, DX, and Navigator, while coordinating with investors, fund managers, and third parties.
  • You’ll prepare and review Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements under LuxGAAP and IFRS, and regulatory reports (CSSF, BCL), while validating back-office work and supporting audits within agreed timelines.
  • You’ll ensure timely filings (CIT, VAT, Annual Accounts) with Luxembourg authorities, handle periodic tax obligations, and maintain compliance with Fund Accounting and Transfer Agent procedures.
  • You’ll support investor services, including AML/KYC onboarding, capital calls, distributions, equalizations, shareholder statements, and maintaining accurate registers and records, while providing responsive client service.
  • You’ll collaborate with senior team members and cross-functional teams (depositary, AIFM, auditors, tax advisers), escalating risks, resolving incidents, and contributing to the launch of new funds or sub-funds.

Qualifications

About you

  • You hold a university degree in Economics, Accounting, or Finance, with ACCA considered a strong asset.
  • You bring 2–3 years of experience in an Audit firm or Service Provider, or at least 2 years of accounting experience in Private Equity/Real Estate Alternative funds.
  • You are fluent in English, with proficiency in French and/or German regarded as desirable.
  • You have exposure to Luxembourg Tax and VAT regulations, enhancing your ability to manage compliance requirements.
  • You possess knowledge of LuxGAAP and IFRS guidelines, supporting accurate financial reporting and analysis
