Finance Manager

Job Description

The Finance Manager – Asia is responsible for overseeing financial operations, reporting, and controls across designated Asia entities. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, supports business decision-making, and drives operational efficiency within the regional finance function.
Reporting to the Financial Controller / Regional CFO, this role acts as a key bridge between local country teams and regional finance leadership.

  • You’ll manage financial reporting and close processes, including month-end/year-end activities, preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), and ensuring compliance with IFRS/local standards, consolidation, and intercompany reconciliations.

  • You’ll oversee end-to-end accounting operations, covering GL, AP, AR, and payroll, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records while driving improvements in processes, systems, and workflows.

  • You’ll support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, including variance analysis, financial modelling, and scenario planning to track and enhance business performance.

  • You’ll ensure compliance, controls, and audit readiness, meeting statutory and tax requirements, strengthening internal controls, and supporting internal and external audits through proper documentation and working papers.

  • You’ll provide financial insights and stakeholder support, including cash flow and working capital management, partnering with operational teams, and coordinating with finance teams, auditors, and advisors while guiding junior staff.

Qualifications

  • You hold a degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA, CA, or ACCA qualification preferred, and bring 5–8 years of relevant finance experience, ideally within a multi-country or regional environment.

  • You have strong accounting and financial reporting expertise, including a solid understanding of IFRS and local statutory requirements.

  • You demonstrate a strong analytical mindset, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data.

  • You effectively manage stakeholders across different geographies, showcasing strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • You possess excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capability to navigate challenges, prioritize tasks, and deliver accurate results in a dynamic environment.
