Facilities Officer (12M FTC)

Job Description

THIS ROLE 

Are you passionate about creating smooth, well-maintained work environments? We’re looking for a proactive and dependable Facilities Officer to support the efficient running of our facilities department. In this dynamic role, you’ll help deliver high-quality services across reception, office maintenance, catering, and sustainability initiatives like waste disposal and recycling. Your contribution will directly support the comfort and productivity of every department in the company—making you a vital part of our daily operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • You’ll manage meeting room setups, greet visitors with professionalism, and handle switchboard calls to ensure a seamless front-of-house experience.
  • You’ll coordinate catering, travel logistics, and courier services, keeping meticulous records for billing and delivery tracking.
  • You’ll oversee mail operations, kitchen stock, and stationery supplies, making sure every department stays equipped and supported.
  • You’ll maintain clear communication with building management, follow security protocols, and monitor the reception and facilities inboxes.
  • You’ll assist in onboarding new joiners, process supplier invoices, and provide reliable support to the Office Manager when needed

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU 

  • You’ve gained at least 2 years of hands-on experience in facilities or a related position, and know how to keep operations running smoothly.
  • You take direction well and execute tasks with accuracy and timeliness, making reliability one of your strongest assets.
  • You’re adaptable and ready to jump into one-off projects or special assignments whenever your line manager calls on you.
  • You proactively identify and escalate issues that could impact service delivery, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
  • You’re confident using Microsoft Office tools and bring solid IT skills to stay organized and efficient in a busy environment.
