Executive – Accounting

Job Description

As an Executive within the Accounting team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely corporate accounting activities while maintaining excellent service standards. You will work closely with the Associate Manager and Manager, in handling a broad range of accounting-related processes. You will also act as a key point of contact for clients.

What you will do 

  • Perform all accounting activities (Bookkeeping, Annual Accounts, Periodic Accounts, Prepare Accounting files, Prepare data for Tax computations). 
  • Attend more complex client queries or escalate to Associate Manager / Manager. 
  • Monitor and track progress of work. 
  • Review information completed on OCDS form by junior members 
  • Agree figures and notes in financial statements to accounting records 
  • Perform other accounting related tasks. 
  • Attend other ad-hoc request from clients. 
  • Update planning information (submit to Accounting Resource Manager). 
  • Raise client issues on a timely basis before client complaints. 
  • Uploading the correct set of Financial Summary/ Financial Statements on FSC1 platform 
  • Filling in FSC surveys and uploading on ODCS platform

Qualifications

  • Degree holder or partly qualified ACCA/ACA (minimum Level 2)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role/global business sector
  • Experience in corporate accounting
  • Sound knowledge of IFRS, Preparation of Financial Statement under IFRS and other applicable laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of Microgen
