Job Description

A regional leadership position responsible for setting strategic direction across multiple jurisdictions servicing corporate clients within a major market or region. This role drives regional strategy, operational transformation, and service excellence across the corporate accounting and administration group while ensuring best-in-class delivery standards. The position focuses on regional growth initiatives, team  

development, and market leadership within the business. 

Responsibilities 

The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Lead strategic direction for accounting services across multiple disciplines 
  • Drive organizational performance and business growth 
  • Develop and execute functional business strategies 
  • Ensure resource optimization and operational efficiency 
  • Maintain executive-level stakeholder relationships 
  • Champion innovation and transformation initiatives 
  • Oversee quality control and risk management frameworks 
  • Drive Centres of Excellence development 
  • Lead change management and cultural transformation 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards 
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and initiate timely mitigating actions when required. 
  • Support GCD location leadership in the delivery of the group strategy. 

Tasks:

  • Monitor /Oversee processes in place that demonstrate GCD location’s compliance to Group Risk and Compliance policies. 
  • Formulate and implement long-term organizational strategies 
  • Build relationships with executive team and board members 
  • Facilitate executive leadership collaboration 
  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities 
  • Oversee strategic initiative execution 
  • Drive accountability in strategic projects 
  • Provide leadership across departments 
  • Manage delivery team performance metrics 
  • Champion organizational change initiatives 
  • Implement effective change management strategies 
  • Develop positive organizational culture policies 
  • Ensure quality control standards compliance 
  • Monitor risk and compliance adherence 
  • Drive staff development, engagement and retention initiatives 
  • Lead strategic planning sessions 
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, both in the region and group, to ensure that GCD colleagues understand and are able to respond appropriately to developments as they arise.  
  • Pro-actively manage own development, encompassing both technical and leadership requirements to a level appropriate to role that supports the IQ-EQ Values 
  • Timely escalation to senior management of any issues which you feel appropriate, in particular ensuring that concerns and identified risks are reported in a timely and effective manner.

Qualifications

Required Experience 

Industry Expertise 

  • 15+ years of extensive experience in client service delivery with Corporate and/or Private wealth accounting preferably with an international exposure 

  • Familiarity with financial products, services, and operational processes (e.g., Corporate accounting & administration, Corporate secretarial services, payments, investment services). 

Education and Certifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; ACCA qualified highly desirable. 

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred
