Delegate Oversight & Onboarding Senior Officer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Compliance with the regulatory framework related to UCI administration
  • Monitor the costs and fees incurred by the funds under management
  • Implement the oversight framework on fund administrators and depositaries
  • Oversight on the Funds’ audits

Tasks:

  • Perform internal and operating controls (especially in relation AIFMD monitoring and reporting)
  • Follow-up on the managed AIFs’ audits and inform your manager on a timely manner on any issues on those audits.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing due diligences on fund administrators and depositaries
  • Assist with the follow up on any issues and incidents reported by the central administrators
  • Liaise closely with the various internal teams, covering RC, Compliance, CRDs, CSM and Risk teams to evaluate the operational risks of the managed funds central administrators
  • Perform periodic review of financial reporting including review of final financial statements and NAV pack from delegates
  • Supporting new policies draft where required including those that become necessary or helpful as a result of business or product development.
  • Produce operational reports for governing bodies (fund board, management company)
  • Support the Risk/Compliance function and the wider Luxembourg team in implementation of all AIFM and fund operations policy and process;
  • Assess the operational KPIs with delegates and participate to due diligence
  • Provide support to the AIFM's Conducting Officers in their oversight function
  • Work collaboratively with internal colleagues and external parties including depositary agents, administrators and auditors to maintain effective working relationships and to oversee their performance.
  • Take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment and a reduction in operational risk.

Qualifications

  • Master/bachelor’s in Accounting
  • Minimum three years of relevant work experience, preferably with Funds’ Operations
  • Good knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory environment for investment funds & firms (incl. 18/698 and other circulars) as well as relevant European Regulation (such as AIFMD)
  • Very good command of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English
