Job Description

Responsibilities

The Client Service Manager has a key role in the team, managing object company groups, related transactions, building and maintaining client relationships, risk management and facilitating associated initiatives. The Client Service Manager also acts as personal director for entities in the segment.

From your expertise you are responsible for assuring that the object companies are in good standing, for operational client relationship management and compliance; maintaining a holistic overview of the client dossier. You have the final accountability for periodic reviews and as a Client Service Manager, you are the key point of contact during audits by the Dutch Central Bank.

The Client Service Manager is not directly responsible for people management, however, is expected to coach involved team members during day-to-day transactions.

Tasks

  • Act as point of contact, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders like auditors, tax advisors, lawyers, investment managers and other transactional parties including meeting and liaising with these parties on a frequent basis
  • Know the client and the nature of his structure and transactions overall and is the ultimate gatekeeper when servicing the client
  • Using thorough knowledge and experience of relevant (accounting, legal, tax and compliance) standards, you are responsible for the service level and customer satisfaction. Prevent complaints, incidents and transfers out
  • Manage the standard of work delivered from associated staff monitoring quality and efficiency of work provided and delegate work to appointed core team members as required
  • The ‘go-to’ person for compliance matters related to the client/structure
  • Keep fully informed of and approve the material transactions
  • Add value to IQ-EQ by executing urgent, important and difficult transactions yourself
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices and prevent deductions and write offs
  • Approve timesheets related to the respective clients
  • Act as the first point of contact to the Dutch Central Bank. During their audits represent, prepare and explain the file and how IQ-EQ manages compliance
  • Work closely with the Client Service Director and Directors in the Commercial Department on business development initiatives
  • Increase client activities, out of scope work for clients and organic growth of the portfolio
  • Support, guide, coach new joiners and act as mentor and example

Qualifications

Required Experience

 

  • Education / Professional Qualifications
    • Holds a university degree
  • Background experience
    • Excellent working knowledge in the field of expertise and legislative and regulatory framework
  • Company, Product, Market knowledge
    • Knowledge of investor services and outsourcing sector beneficial. Management of client relationships and experience with resolving issues directly with clients
  • Management & Leadership
    • Comprehensive relationship management experience
  • Languages
    • English, Dutch is preferred
