Client Manager

Job Description

As a Client Manager, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional loan administration services to a portfolio of debt and credit clients. You will lead client onboarding, oversee day-to-day loan administration activities, manage a high-performing team, and ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality client services. Working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders, you will help drive operational excellence, strengthen client relationships, and support the continued growth of the Loan Administration business.

What you will do

 

  • You will manage a portfolio of loan administration clients, overseeing onboarding, operational delivery, and ensuring exceptional client service throughout the client lifecycle.
  • You will lead, coach, and develop a team of Loan Analysts and Senior Loan Analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables, effective workload management, and continuous team development.
  • You will oversee key loan administration activities, including transaction processing, cash and position reconciliations, investor reporting, waterfall calculations, and lifecycle event management.
  • You will act as the primary client contact and escalation point, building strong relationships with clients, software providers, and internal stakeholders while driving operational excellence and process improvements.
  • You will support business growth by contributing to new business opportunities, client demonstrations, process design, and the continuous enhancement of loan administration services.

Qualifications

  • You have a degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline, with at least 5 years of experience in loan administration, facility agency, loan servicing, CLO administration, debt operations, or a related financial services environment.
  • You have proven experience managing client relationships, leading teams, and working collaboratively with offshore teams and third-party stakeholders.
  • You have strong knowledge of debt and credit administration systems, with experience using platforms such as Allvue or similar loan servicing systems considered an advantage.
  • You possess excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with strong Microsoft Excel proficiency and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are a proactive leader with strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service and operational excellence.
