Job Description
The Regional CFO (“RCFO”) will support the Regional CEO (RCEO) in strategic planning, maximising financial performance in the Asia region whilst remaining responsible all Finance related activities. The RCFO will direct and oversee the financial planning and analysis in the region and ensure that the finance function is operating efficiently whilst meeting Group standards of minimum financial control.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction and line management for the regional finance function
- Ensure revenues are maximized through appropriate revenue capture and assurance along with implementation of inflationary increases and optimal pricing
- Management of margin through appropriate resource planning and review of client profitability
- Oversee budget process, rolling forecasts, revenue analysis, and various project-based finance initiatives and related staff
- Financial oversight on acquisitions and management of the integration of finance related activities
- Leverage existing financial reporting systems or make recommendations for enhanced technology, to provide more robust analysis, and to automate manual tasks. Ensure that the team understands the capabilities and become experts
- Analysis of monthly trading performance against budgets and forecasting including bridging and explanation of significant variances
- Supporting ad hoc group financial requests
- Support the development of business cases for new products or expansion to new markets including cost/benefit/returns
- Analyse commercial initiatives and track performance
- Supporting offshoring initiative through appropriate modelling and implementation
- Oversight of local statutory and regulatory financial reporting including audit processes where appropriate
- Oversight of tax returns, leveraging outsourced tax compliance model
- Manage working capital overseeing timely billing and credit control processes to maximise cash generation
- Liaison with Group Finance to ensure excess cash is up streamed
Qualifications
- Min 10 years experience in financial control or related activities
- Outstanding knowledge of key finance and management processes, roles and responsibilities
- Have a good understanding of local legislation in relation to matters such as Tax, Regulatory framework etc in respective sites
- Strong analytical skill with proven track record is a must
- Substantial professional experience in a Financial Services Environment, ideally within a global matrix professional services company
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with senior stakeholders.
- Project management skills, including ability to multitask effectively
