Responsibilities (how we will measure success)
• Working within the Business Architecture & Solution Design team, you will support the implementation and management of a group wide planning and resource management solution dealing with many international stakeholders
• Your main responsibility will be for designing, creating, updating and maintaining checklists, which is one of the key modules in our solution.
• You will be involved in supporting improvements to our end-to-end workflow solution to streamline key interactions between teams across countries
• You will help setup the platform as needed to meet different requirements
• You will support the Operational teams in different jurisdictions in the daily use of the solution, interacting with end-users, IT and project team, ensuring global standards are maintained
• You’ll help prepare and maintaining various documents (test scripts, user guide/manual documentation) as required by the product to agreed standards, of consistent quality and to agreed timelines
• You will work with colleagues and other stakeholders to investigate operational issues, problems and new opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in aspects of business areas or systems.
• You'll also assist in the analysis of underlying issues and their root causes, identifying available options for consideration such as new development
• You will assist in the updates of data as needed in the system
Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)
• Design, create, update, standardize and maintain checklists (management) by working with international colleagues and other stakeholders to continuously improve the checklists and related business processes
• Investigate operational issues, problems and new opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in aspects of business areas or systems of interest. Assisting in the analysis of underlying issues and their root causes, and help identify solutions
• Ensuring good use of Azure Dev Ops.
• Assist in defining user acceptance tests for new or improved checklists, business processes and the system.
• Work with developers to implement and test solutions that you or other team member's design.
• Consider opportunities and potential risks attached to suggestions you make
• Communicate the benefits of your recommendations across departments and help to address any uncertainty and concern
• Support staff and teams in making your recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues
• Support training and maintenance of related materials for the wider business, engaging with teams to ensure ongoing enhancements as needed
• Ensuring that end-users requests are addressed within Business SLAs
Essential Criteria:
• 3+ Years Application Support or implementation experience
• Excellent organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills
• Experience of operating within a firm that shares some of the following features:
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify problems and challenges, demonstrating strong analytical ability as well as providing informed insights.
Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Vision
• Ability to draft detailed mock-ups / specifications
• Experience in Agile ways of working
Desired Criteria:
• Familiar with applying standards, practices and assessments relevant to product development is a plus
• A quick learner eager and proactive to support the business and become a subject matter expert
• Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops is beneficial but not essential
