Job Description
A Business Management Analyst collects, analyzes, and interprets data to produce insightful reports that aid in informed decision-making within an organization. They collaborate with various departments to ensure data accuracy and develop reporting solutions that align with business objectives. Responsibilities (how we will measure success
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and Interpret large sets of data, identify trends, patterns, and irregularities, and conduct in-depth analysis to provide actionable insights. Data sources would come from Prod Plus covering chargeability/ overtime, Navigator on performance metrics, employee headcount from SAP and employee open requisitions from Smart Recruit.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity of data by validating and reviewing prior to its submission. Reports are being submitted to the senior leadership team, hence accurate reporting of data mentioned above is a must.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance data collection and reporting procedures
- Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other business metrics to assess progress toward organizational goals using the data from Navigator, NetSuite,etc.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate findings effectively to various business units, including senior management, to support strategic decision-making. This involves the monthly reporting of headcount, new businesses, etc.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest data analytics tools and techniques to enhance reporting processes i.e. power BI, Tableau, etc.
Qualifications
Key competencies for position and level
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing complex datasets and identifying trends.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), SQL, and other reporting software.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, macros)
- Proven experience working with large datasets and creating reports.
- Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.

Required Experience Education / professional qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Background experience Minimum of 3 years experience in reporting and data analytics in a financial services organization or similar industry Technical Proficiency in MS office with advance skills in MS excel (macros etc) Computer / program knowledge
