Responsibilities (how we will measure success)
The Business Implementation Manager Fund Services is responsible for the quality of the Onboarding, the on-time in full (OTIF) delivery during the Business Implementation process and a smooth transfer to the Business As Usual phase, in line with Service Level Agreements.
Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)
As a Business Implementation Manager Fund Services, you will:
- Be co-responsible for the coordination and preparation of fee proposals (in collaboration with Sales / CRDs / CSD Fund Services and Finance), including taking the lead in RFP preparations, for Fund Services in general (including Depositary) and more specifically for Alternative Investment Funds investing in alternative asset classes e.g., real estate, private equity, debt, and infrastructure.
- Coordinate between various internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding process for clients until handover to the operational Business As Usual (BAU) teams, including the following duties:
- AML/ KYC analysis, and driving our internal compliance approval process;
- Bank account opening coordination;
- Preparation, and coordinating the review of service (level) agreements (SLAs);
- Attend weekly calls with clients, as well as other key stakeholders;
- Coordinating the review of legal and financial documents for the structure setup;
- Actively manage the communication between the client and all stakeholders on- and offshore; and
- Track and perform all Dutch regulatory obligations and filings during the onboarding phase.
- Oversee the Business Implementation (BI) work, facilitating the offshore teams and reviewing their work if required, up to and including the transfer to the BAU teams. BI in this context means, in addition to the above and in the case of existing funds with a certain level of data history, making sure that all data is entered into Investran on time and in full, and reviewing the relevant output (capital account statements, trial balances, limited partners registers, etc.) to make sure that they are correct. Once all data is correct in Investran the work can go from the BI team to the BAU team.
- Contribute to seeking ways to improve collaboration with stakeholders, as well as to improve team processes, in close collaboration with the Client Service Director Fund Services and the Head of Business Implementation, Quality and Oversight.
- Act as a first point of escalation for other internal IQ-EQ stakeholders in case of inefficiencies or blocking points within the internal collaboration, aiming to assure a one-stop solution for clients in the onboarding and BI phase.
- Assist to handle, escalate, and resolve client complaints.

Qualifications
Required Experience
What you will bring to the team:
- Strong legal, financial and business acumen;
- Relevant experience in alternative investment fund industry is a strong asset, preferably in Fund Accounting;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools and preferably of Investran;
- Problem solving, collaborative, client- and team-oriented approach;
- Structured and well organised with strong skills in coordination to get buy-in from others;
- Good inter-personal skills and a strong command of English (Dutch would be an asset); and
- University Degree in Accounting or a related relevant degree / experience.
