Reporting to the Financial Director you will be responsible for reporting about, and follow-ups on KPIs; and for elaborating with the business ensuring goals will be achieved by providing insightful commentary on actual financial performance and assessing key drivers.
You will be the bridge between the Finance Department and the Operations Department. Not only will you be the expert in your field, but also your organisational people skills will help you create the support you need to achieve your targets. Your inquisitive mind-set will help you be acquainted with our organisation and operations in no time, ensuring the connection you need with the Operations Department.

Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)
- You will have an active role analysing results (KPI’s) together with the local business partners and the local finance department. You need to have a talent for identifying the drivers of these KPI’s and knowing which SMART actions are needed to improve the performance. You will need to agree upon and set clear deadlines for the actions set.
- You have an active role in reviewing the performance of the working capital within the operations department through identifying ways to improve working capital management, coaching / supporting business partners to improve working capital management, and reporting to Financial Director on performance.
- You have an active role in business planning & control and supporting the pursuit of business targets.
- You have an affinity with business assessment of cases (you know how to advise commercial staff about the pricing of new contracts and are able assist with the negotiation of new fee agreements leading to improvement of the company’s profitability).
- You are in the lead to organise and coordinate periodic turnover forecasting- and turnover budget process.
- You have a drive for continuous improvement of management information systems (financial & non-financial reports, dashboards, etc.) and system optimization.
- You will support business with ad-hoc requests and specific analysis.
- You have an eye for identifying business opportunities and risks.
- Perform and improve benchmark analysis (internal + external).

Qualifications
- Education / Professional Qualifications: Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, preferably master’s in finance/economics
- Background experience: 2-4 years of successful professional experience in Business Controlling / Business Analysis / FP&A.
- Company, Product, Market knowledge: Knowledge of investor services and outsourcing sector beneficial. Management of stakeholder relationships and experience with resolving issues directly with stakeholders is desirable.
- IT skills: Highly experienced user of Excel, Power BI and Workday. Knowledge of ERP applications.
- Management & Leadership: Comprehensive people leadership experience
- Languages: English, Dutch is preferred
