Azure Integration Developer

Job Description

As a result of continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Azure Integration Developer to join our global team, to provide specialist expertise to manage the fully integration of services underpinned, but not restricted to, the company’s data warehouse solution.

The Azure Integration Developer is responsible for ensuring robust and appropriate integrations are established ensuring a fully automated and integrated data model.

You will have strong experience with Azure technologies and a background in developing, designing and implementing complex integration solutions.

Relationship building with stakeholders across business and IT department will be essential, as will understanding pain points and devising solutions, ultimately leading to a deep technical knowledge of the platforms used and input into development roadmap and driving best practices.

You will need to have experience working in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise tasks that contribute to the delivery of project workstreams, BAU activities, and response to incidents. 

You will be tenacious and passionate, with the ability to take ownership of tasks whilst managing your time effectively, and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines. 

You will maintain excellent attention to detail and have a logical approach to solving problems under pressure and an active communicator on technical issues that affect client delivery.

The role requires you to have the ability to communicate clearly and with impact in a fast-paced and high-pressure situations including the ability to challenge and influence the view of senior stakeholders respectfully, confidently, and effectively to bring a new perspective.

Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Azure based integration solutions.
  • Use C# and related .net framework skills to evolve the firm’s integration requirements between services and platforms.
  • Take ownership and build appropriate technical solutions to enable the full exploitation of the internal data warehouse capability.
  • Explain to stakeholders / signatories the benefits of future potential expansion opportunities.
  • Integrate and manage APIs across the technology space.
  • Work closely with Architects and the Data Transformation team.
  • Create and maintain appropriate process, service, and technical documentation.


Education / professional qualifications

  • Graduate degree, preferably in IT related disciplines.
  • With 10 years of overall IT experience and at least 6 years of working experience on Microsoft Azure services is required.
  • Professional certifications such as Azure Certification: Developer / Solutions Architect.

Background experience

  • Commercial experience and competence across C# .net stack.
  • Experience with Azure services and iPaaS architectures.
  • Hands-on experience in developing & deploying Cloud-based applications especially Azure App Services, Azure Functions, App Insights & Logic Apps.
  • Extensive API development experience.
  • Proficiency in .NET Core Frameworks and App Service building for Web App development.
  • Proficient in API development especially using ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET Core, REST services is mandatory.
  • Established best practice within an Azure platform.
  • Required knowledge in enterprise Azure DevOps environment using CI/CD
  • .Skills in working with both MS SQL & No SQL databases.
  • Ability to meet and adhere to internal and external deliverables whilst maintaining an exceptionally high standard.
  • Ability to apply design principles, best practices and share knowledge across the teams.

  • Strong organisation skills.
  • Knowledge in JavaScript/TypeScript including any of the technology, SQL Server reporting is an added advantage.

Company, product, and market knowledge

  • Experience of working in a complex, multi-country professional services, financial services or BPO organisation with complex processing requirements preferred but not essential.
  • Multi-country experience and demonstrates an ability to work in a multi-cultural, talented, and demanding team environment.
  • Possess the skills and the personality to operate effectively in a very fast-paced complex global business with an in-depth knowledge of program management.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and oral form, with staff members, customers, suppliers, and the management team with the ability to make decisions, act and get results.

  • Fully proficient spoken and written English, additional European languages will be an asset.
