Associate Client Services Director

Job Description

As an Associate Client Services Director (ACSD), you will play a strategic role in managing and strengthening client relationships across our Trust, Fund, and Corporate Services entities in Mauritius. You will work closely with the Client Services Director to maintain and grow a profitable client portfolio, acting as a key escalation point and ensuring exceptional service delivery. You will review and validate client outputs, safeguard compliance with Group and local regulatory frameworks, and collaborate with our Client Coverage teams to support seamless and high‑quality delivery across all engagements.

What you will do

  • You’ll build, coach, and develop high‑performing teams, creating a strong talent pipeline and fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous growth.
  • You’ll cultivate and maintain senior‑level stakeholder relationships while leading all aspects of corporate secretarial operations, including governance support, board processes, and oversight of statutory documentation and filings.
  • You’ll drive operational excellence by championing innovation, refining service‑delivery models, and implementing best practices that enhance efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • You’ll oversee strategic planning, including budgeting, resource allocation, people management, and implementation of governance frameworks, policies, and workflow systems.
  • You’ll act as a senior escalation point for client matters, ensuring service issues are addressed promptly and that all deliverables comply with regulatory, statutory, and Group governance requirements.

Qualifications

About You 

  • You hold a degree and/or a relevant professional qualification and bring solid experience in a similar role within the global business sector.
  • You have strong leadership instincts and naturally foster open communication, alignment, and a sense of belonging within your team.
  • You understand how client fee structures work and have hands‑on experience in debtor management and operational financial oversight.
  • You bring solid technical knowledge in corporate administration and secretarial matters, with a strong command of the Companies Act, Financial Services Act, and regulations governing the Global Business sector in Mauritius.
  • You are confident using Microgen (or similar systems) and communicate fluently in English (and the local language), with additional languages considered an advantage.
