Associate – AML/KYC (Fund Administration)

Job Description

Conducts and supports AML/KYC reviews for investors and investments using proprietary software, while coordinating with offshore teams and communicating with clients and legal counsels. Manages documentation, tracks deadlines, fulfills client requests, and contributes to process improvements across multiple Private Equity funds.

This position will work Eastern or Central Time Zone hours - successful candidates will be US based in the New York/New Jersey area, Chicago, Dallas, or Houston.

What you’ll do

  • You'll conduct and support AML/KYC reviews at both investor and investment levels using proprietary software and coordinate with offshore teams for efficient completion.
  • You'll communicate with clients and legal counsels via email to address routine and ad-hoc information requests across multiple Private Equity funds and industries.
  • You'll track and manage deadlines, missing items, and post-close requests to ensure timely collection and completion of all required documentation.
  • You'll maintain accurate records by updating internal files and proprietary systems to support compliance and operational transparency.
  • You'll assess current processes and suggest improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and streamline AML/KYC workflows.

  • The salary for this position will be dependent on experience and location ($65,000-$72,000). 

Qualifications

  • You have a bachelor's degree and a strong foundation for delivering professional services.
  • You provide exceptional client service and communicate effectively, especially in writing.
  • You collaborate well in team environments, offering and receiving constructive feedback with a positive attitude.
  • You manage multiple tasks and deadlines with precision, producing high-quality work with extreme attention to detail.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, and willing to work overtime when needed to meet deadlines.
