Assistant Manager, Funds & Institutional

Job Description

THIS ROLE 

In this role, you'll be based at Jersey's Gaspé House and will occasionally travel to client or other IQ-EQ Group office locations. As part of the Funds & Institutional department, you'll assist in managing a Client Administration Team, ensuring the highest standards of administration for a diverse client portfolio. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • You take ownership of a high-value client portfolio, ensuring smooth administration and delivering exceptional client satisfaction
  • You support senior leadership in reaching key performance targets—like revenue growth, billable hours, and cash flow efficiency
  • You provide technical guidance to your team and help drive operational excellence through smart process improvements
  • You build lasting relationships with clients and intermediaries, opening doors to fresh business opportunities and expanding your influence
  • You actively engage in regulatory awareness, risk management, and cross-functional initiatives, helping shape a future-ready business

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU 

  • You hold a relevant professional qualification like the ICSA or STEP Diploma, giving you a solid foundation in fiduciary and fund administration
  • You bring over 5 years of hands-on experience in the fund services industry, with deep knowledge of laws, duties, and best practices
  • You’re proficient in key IT systems and have sharp analytical abilities that drive sound decision-making and reporting
  • You’re a detail-oriented communicator who builds strong relationships and thrives in team settings, especially when managing tight deadlines
  • You understand cross-jurisdictional tax impacts and apply your risk-aware, commercially savvy mindset to support client and business goals
