Assistant Manager, Funds

Job Description

We're seeking an Assistant Manager to join our dynamic Funds team in Guernsey. In this role, you'll collaborate proactively with the administration teams to deliver efficient operations, implement processes, and uphold company policies. You'll take ownership of a wide range of fund administration tasks including complex client matters ensuring accurate, timely execution to support our diverse global client base. What you'll do

  • You lead by example, embodying the Group’s values to foster a high-performance, client-focused culture and uphold operational excellence
  • You build strong, collaborative relationships across the team and senior management to ensure smooth and supportive client servicing
  • You guide junior team members, offering hands-on support with daily tasks and complex queries while overseeing their outputs for accuracy and timeliness
  • You take ownership of reviewing key fund administration deliverables, including corporate actions and financial documents, ensuring deadlines and standards are met
  • You communicate effectively with management, providing timely, constructive feedback on client matters and helping to continually improve service delivery.

Qualifications

  • You will ideally hold an ICSA qualification or comparable qualification and/or evidence of continued professional development.
  • You possess strong knowledge of the finance industry in Guernsey
  • You bring experience in fund administration, which is highly valued
  • You consistently demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality client service
  • You communicate effectively, both in writing and in conversation
  • You are confident with IT systems and have solid technical skills
  • You’re highly organised and analytical, able to manage tasks with precision
  • You’ve supported junior administration team members or have a desire to support and guide.
