Assistant Manager Direct Tax Compliance

Job Description

What you will do

  • You'll take full responsibility for timely and accurate handling of clients’ Direct Tax requirements, including correspondence and preparation of direct tax returns.
  • You'll prepare or review Corporate Income Tax returns, Corporate Tax provisions, Withholding Tax returns, and Tax assessments for a diverse client base (Private Wealth, Corporate, and Funds).
  • You'll train junior tax colleagues, deliver tax training sessions to accountants and corporate officers, and provide ongoing guidance and support.
  • You'll proactively contribute to improving internal tax reporting processes and templates, while assisting with ad-hoc regulatory projects such as DAC6 and Pillar II; knowledge of Transfer Pricing will be considered an asset.
  • You'll liaise effectively with clients, accountants, lawyers, corporate officers, and tax authorities to ensure smooth communication and compliance.

Qualifications

  • You hold a University degree or equivalent certification in Tax law, Business Law, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent.
  • You have at least 4-5 years of relevant work experience in Luxembourg direct tax compliance either in the Corporate and Trust services industry or Big4
  • You show well established organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • You have a proficient level in working with MS Office applications.
  • You are fluent in English. French and/or German would be preferable with any other language being an advantage
