Assistant Manager, Closures

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a book of closing and exiting entities working within a team completing procedures and undertaking a variety administrative tasks. Taking responsibility for complex closures and presenting to the appropriate decision-making body with options and recommendation.

Tasks:

Tasks during the project include:

  • Take ownership of action points related to closing entities following our closure procedure and undertaking administrative tasks.
  • Administer a complex and varied portfolio of closing and exiting entities requiring technical ability.
  • Provide support to the client managers to complete closures and support none admin skilled staff within the team.
  • Undertake client communication when required with the Client Administrative Teams to ensure an effective exit working with the Client Administrative Teams, undertaking key administrative tasks.
  • Escalate, provide written briefs including solutions options and recommendations for complex closures requiring business decisions.
  • Work with outsourced teams to progress actions using established work management frameworks and in liaison with oversight managers as required.
  • Follow the closure process working with departments across the Private Wealth business taking ownership of completing tasks to ensure a smooth exit.
  • Track and report on progress as required.
  • Participate in client closure meetings, convene relevant staff to brief and progress closures and exits.
  • Record time spent appropriately and contribute to closure data analysis.
  • Act as an effective member of the fiduciary team brining extensive administrative and trust experience to work within and operator as a leader within the closure team.
  • Engage with wider group and regional closure projects as required.

Qualifications

  • Background Experience
    • Previous experience at a similar level in an administration role.
    • Experience in trust or corporate services sector preferred
  • Education / Professional Qualifications
    • Relevant ICA qualification would be preferred but is not essential
  • Computer / Program Knowledge
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
