Assistant Manager Accounting Consolidation

Job Description

What you'll do

  • You'll support the preparation of periodic and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with LUXGAAP and IFRS, contribute to group reporting packages, and perform intra-group eliminations and consolidation adjustments.
  • You'll maintain and develop the consolidation system and group chart of accounts, participate in impairment testing, and implement new accounting standards and regulatory changes.
  • You'll drive process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency, review statutory accounts from the Global Center of Delivery, and ensure timely, high-quality service delivery using internal monitoring tools.
  • You'll liaise effectively with internal teams and external auditors to ensure coordination and compliance, while managing relationships with clients and service providers including tax advisors, law firms, asset managers, and fund managers.
  • You'll attend board meetings under directorship mandates, apply internal procedures diligently, utilize additional resources as needed, and contribute as an active team member committed to delivering exceptional client service

Qualifications

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • You bring 3–5 years of experience in IFRS reporting, consolidation, and the Real Estate sector.
  • You have strong technical accounting expertise in both Lux GAAP and IFRS.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Yardi and Mona systems.
  • You are fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
