Application Developer – Asset Owner Solutions

Job Description

IN THIS ROLE:

This Application Developer position will be responsible for developing, documenting, and supporting standard reports within the company’s systems for the clients. Industry standard tools will be used to develop reports. Interaction with the end user to establish report requirements may be necessary


ABOUT YOU:

  • You will perform the development, maintenance, internal testing of standard/non-complex client dashboard
  • You will maintain accurate and timely processing of data extraction/ collection and follow quality control process and risk mitigation efforts
    You will develop knowledge of client specific requirements and deliverables and be responsible for entering and maintaining the accurate data shown in the client reports and/or dashboard
  • You will perform the development, maintenance, internal testing of standard/non-complex client dashboard
  • You will execute and interpret SQL queries. Update data source query based on the client’s requirement, as and when needed
  • You will collaborate with client services to understand and troubleshoot dashboard issues and develop appropriate solutions
  • You will assists in client onboarding activities and any change request related to the above tasks and/or develop demo dashboard, as and when needed
  • You will follow definition of done and process around Azure DevOps and identify new dashboard features, seek improvement and efficiencies on existing client workbook and process
  • You will Track work progress through timesheet completion; review and create documentation for the dashboard
  • You will follow prescribed workflows and escalation procedures and participate in workshops and required training programs
  • You will conduct self-reviews to maintain quality standards and assist senior team members with routine assignments
  • You will support in overseeing and managing incoming communication from the other AOS team members/Client/Investor’s

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, computer science, information systems, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field
  • You have at least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics, working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture, and complex data sets
  • You have Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with a particular focus on Excel skills
  • You have basic understanding business intelligence and data analytics
  • You have basic knowledge of Tableau or other data visualization tools (ex. Power BI, AWS Quicksight, etc.)
  • You have understanding of basic concepts of reporting and data visualization
  • You have basic to Intermediate knowledge of T-SQL (SELECT queries)
  • You have basic programming skills (Macro, python, R, matlab or any analytical programming language)
  • You have the ability to work with complex visualization and datasets and to collaborate effectively with senior team members and work well in a team-oriented environment
  • You are enthusiasm for learning and commitment to completing required training programs
  • You have good time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines in a structured work environment
  • You have willingness to follow standardized workflows and adapt to client-specific requirements
  • You proactive and adaptable with a mindset focused on quality control and risk mitigation and is open to feedback and capable of applying it to improve performance
