Annex IV Reporting Specialist

Job Description

THE ROLE

As a Annex IV Reporting Analyst you will work as part of the Depositary department, you will work within the Depositary team, You will be responsible for administering and managing a portfolio of Depositary clients whilst providing oversight and support to Depositary Analysts, including, but not limited to, asset verification (primarily ensuring that each Client Fund or Fund entity has supplied sufficient information to prove good legal title over the assets it owns), cash monitoring (primarily ensuring all cash transactions are consistent with the Funds operations, and cash balances are reconciled) and compliance oversight (primarily ensuring the Client is complying with all relevant aspects of the AIFMD), understanding the AIFMD legislation and managing and building relationships with clients and other key business areas).

What you'll do

  • You'll serve as the primary operational expert on Annex IV regulatory reporting, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • You'll lead the end-to-end Annex IV reporting process, developing and maintaining robust frameworks, procedures, and controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • You'll collaborate with finance, risk, compliance, auditors, regulators, and stakeholders to resolve challenges, address inquiries, and improve reporting processes.
  • You'll monitor regulatory updates and industry best practices, providing training and guidance while implementing changes to maintain compliance and support internal teams.
  • You'll drive continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies, leading automation initiatives, optimizing reporting systems, and delivering performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

About You

  • You have experience with Annex IV reporting (required) and preferably a working knowledge of AIFMD, with exposure to Depositary functions and accounting qualifications (qualified or part-qualified being advantageous).
  • You bring experience working with collective investment schemes, ideally including Private Equity, and are comfortable interpreting fund and legal documentation.
  • You demonstrate a strong understanding of cash reconciliation processes, as well as the principles of a robust control environment and regulatory compliance.
  • You are adaptable, flexible, and able to remain calm, practical, and effective when working under pressure.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications and are willing to travel as required to support business needs.
