AIFM Portfolio Management, Junior Officer

Job Description

What you'll do

  • You’ll perform due diligence on investments, analyze proposals within the framework, and monitor portfolio development to ensure sound decision-making.
  • You’ll oversee advisors and delegated investment managers by tracking executed trades, escalating findings to management, and ensuring proper documentation of all activities.
  • You’ll collaborate closely with the IQ-EQ Portfolio Management Team, supporting the preparation of materials for stakeholder meetings and contributing to effective communication.
  • You’ll leverage strong analytical and interpersonal skills, being customer-oriented, self-organized, solution-driven, and a convincing personality in delivering results.
  • You’ll embody our Group Values (Authentic, Bold, Collaborative) with an open mindset, respectful behavior, balanced personality, personal interest in finance, and a consistently positive attitude.

Qualifications

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Finance or an equivalent qualification, providing a strong academic foundation for the role.
  • You bring initial experience in a similar position within a management company, an AIFM in Luxembourg, or the broader fund industry.
  • You have practical exposure to the Luxembourg regulatory environment for investment funds, ensuring compliance and effective oversight.
  • You demonstrate experience in portfolio review and collaboration with investment managers, as well as working with third-party delegates and service providers.
  • You are fluent in English and French, with additional language skills considered an asset for effective communication in a multicultural environment.
