AIFM Oversight, Senior Officer

Job Description

As AIFM Oversight Senior Officer, you will provide comprehensive oversight of fund operations and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to Luxembourg and European regulatory frameworks whilst maintaining robust internal controls across all managed funds.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure regulatory compliance with UCI administration frameworks and AIFMD requirements, including monitoring of costs, fees, and implementation of oversight frameworks for fund administrators and depositaries
  • Conduct initial and ongoing due diligence on fund administrators and depositaries, assessing operational risks through collaboration with RC, Compliance, CRDs, CSM and Risk teams
  • Oversee fund audits and financial reporting processes, including review of final financial statements, NAV packs, and periodic performance of internal and operating controls
  • Evaluate operational KPIs with delegates, assess control effectiveness, and support the AIFM's Conducting Officers in their oversight function to maintain and enhance the control environment
  • Liaise collaboratively with internal colleagues and external parties including depositary agents, administrators, and auditors to maintain effective working relationships, produce operational reports for governing bodies, and support implementation of AIFM and fund operations policies

Qualifications

  • Master/bachelor’s in Accounting
  • Minimum three years of relevant work experience, preferably with Funds’ Operations
  • Good knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory environment for investment funds & firms (incl. 18/698 and other circulars) as well as relevant European Regulation (such as AIFMD)
  • Very good command of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English
