AIFM Marketing & Distribution Senior Officer

Job Description

Responsibilities (how we will measure success)

  • Achieve a smooth marketing process for prospective investors and clients
  • Ensure a culture of marketing at the AIFM and at client level
  • Monitor and assess the impact of regulatory changes

Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)

  • Checking Prospective Investor eligibility
  • Support the assessment of regulatory changes for the Marketing function
  • Support the administration of the dataroom: granting access of Prospective Investors, review, validation and upload of marketing documents
  • Preparing and attending calls/meetings with clients and prospective investors (including preparation of agenda, drafting minutes)
  • Maintaining up to date records of marketing activity of the AIFM
  • Monitor development of the marketing process with regards each fund marketed by the AIFM
  • Escalate your findings and prepare a bi-weekly report to the Conducting Officer
  • Perform initial due diligence and ongoing monitoring on marketing intermediaries
  • Present the marketing function of the AIFM to clients and respective tasks and responsibilities
  • Preparation and submission of marketing notifications to the regulator
  • Support any IT and BCP matters and internal audit requests

Qualifications

  • Master/bachelor’s in law, economics or an equivalent degree
  • Minimum two years of relevant working experience in a similar position in an AIFM or a Luxembourg company
  • Excellent knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory environment for investment funds
  • Fluent in English, knowledge in any additional language would be considered an asset
