AIFM Legal Intern

Job Description

  • Coordinate signature processes
  • Analysing legal documents and scanning, filing and archiving
  • Verifying if onboarding projects are properly created on the system, details are well-encoded and monitoring dashboard
  • Assisting the Senior AIFM Legal Officer in creating the agreements repository as well as logging agreements in the tracker
  • Along with the Senior AIFM Legal Officer, to conduct legal research for tasks when needed
  • Support the Team in ad-hoc requests received from various stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Able to provide an internship agreement
  • Proficient verbal and written English is required, other languages are an advantage
  • Good command of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and at ease with automation tools
  • Freshly graduated with Master or Bachelor’s degree (Legal, LLM, Corporate Law, Business Law, Commercial Law)
  • First experience in Company law is an advantage
  • Interested in learning the role of an AIFM
  • Basic knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory environment for investment funds & firms (incl. 18/698 circular) as well as relevant European regulation (such as AIFMD and new regulations) is a plus
