Accountant- PSO

Job Description

In this role, you’ll support the smooth running of core accounting, reconciliation, and AML/KYC processes, working independently while maintaining tight control over the tasks you own. You’ll play a key part in keeping client and regulatory data accurate, organised, and compliant, while helping strengthen operational workflows across the team.

What you'll do

  • You’ll manage AML/KYC/CDD checks, ensuring documents align with shareholder registers and identifying any mismatches.
  • You’ll assist with banking reconciliations and post transactions into the accounting system.
  • You’ll flag issues early, propose practical solutions, and help maintain clean, compliant records.
  • You’ll work independently to keep processes under your responsibility on track and well‑controlled.
  • You’ll support day‑to‑day operational tasks related to financial data, client information, and system entries.

Qualifications

About You

  • You are confident using Word and Excel, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • You communicate clearly in English and work independently while maintaining strong control over your processes.
  • You bring solid financial literacy, with an accounting background preferred but not required, and you’re comfortable supporting reconciliations and system postings.
  • You have experience with AML/KYC/CDD, or you’re quick to understand BVI AML requirements with guidance—ensuring documents align with shareholder registers.
  • You have experience in a similar operational or accounting support role and are eager to take ownership and solve problems proactively.
