Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

A developing accounting role responsible for preparing fund accounting services for low to medium complexity portfolios. This role performs a variety of routine to moderately complex tasks under moderate guidance, focusing on executing established accounting processes and preparing standard client deliverables. The position requires developing technical knowledge and the ability to follow prescribed procedures while building competence through structured assignments.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You'll prepare fund accounting reports, dashboards, and deliverables while ensuring accurate data entry, timely transaction processing, and adherence to prescribed guidelines.
  • You'll perform routine to moderately complex fund accounting calculations, validate supporting documents, and escalate incomplete or inconsistent information to senior team members.
  • You'll follow quality control processes, risk mitigation efforts, and prescribed workflows, conducting self‑reviews and maintaining operational checklists to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • You'll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, support client onboarding and change requests, and maintain strong knowledge of client‑specific requirements, organizational processes, and standards.
  • You'll contribute to process efficiency improvements, participate in training programs, and provide input to performance evaluations or UAT activities under guidance when requested.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • You bring at least 1.5 years of experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, performance analytics, or similar roles focused on low‑ to medium‑complexity portfolios.
  • You demonstrate solid knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards, along with intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • You communicate and document processes clearly, identify operational risks, and contribute to process improvements with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
  • You show enthusiasm for learning, adaptability to feedback, strong work ethic, and a collaborative attitude that supports teamwork and knowledge sharing.
