Job Description

Job Summary:

An entry-level accounting position responsible for delivering basic fund accounting services under supervision. This role focuses on standardized processes and routine financial operations while developing core accounting competencies. The position handles low-complexity clients and tasks within established frameworks.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare basic financial statements and NAV calculations and other deliverables using prescribed guidelines with guidance
  • Support daily fund accounting operations following established procedures
  • Maintain accurate and timely processing of accounting transactions
  • Follow quality control processes and risk mitigation efforts
  • Develop knowledge of client-specific requirements and deliverables

Tasks:

  • Process daily bookkeeping entries using designated accounting systems, capital calls, distributions, and investor notices
  • Complete and maintain detailed operational checklists
  • Prepare basic working papers and supporting documentation
  • Record and reconcile simple financial transactions
  • Track work progress through timesheet completion
  • Follow prescribed workflows and escalation procedures
  • Participate in required training programs
  • Conduct self-reviews to maintain quality standards
  • Assist senior team members with routine assignments
  • Perform other related duties as assigned for role and business needs

Qualifications

Educational Background:

HSC with strong numerical skills studying for ACCA or ACA or equivalent or Degree holder

Professional Experience:

Internship or 0–1 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (preferably in a Fund Accounting or shared services environment)
