Senior Manager – Private Wealth

Job Description

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager-Private Wealth will maintain client relationship including handling client issues and demands, identify all revenue opportunities within the existing portfolio and ensure there is no revenue leakage

The Senior Manager-Private Wealth will act as the Checker before delivering work to clients and ensures compliance to the Group and Company compliance policies as well as local regulatory framework.

The Senior Manager-Private Wealth will also ensure that the team members are motivated, well coached and deliver to their best

The Senior Manager-Private Wealth will liaise with the Country Delivery Director for delivery services to his/her client portfolio.

The Senior Manager- Private Wealth will work together with Business Development in order to grow the portfolio and increase the revenue of this unit.

The Senior Manager- Private Wealth will provide guidance as Trustee on the role and responsibilities of Trustee to the relevant parties and ensure that at all times the Trusts under management are compliant with the relevant laws and regulations.

Tasks

  • Train and coach team members working under his/her supervision or working on his/her client portfolio.
  • Review and approve the works done by the team.
  • Provide guidance as Trustee to all stakeholder.
  • Be the liaison officer towards the regulators.
  • Work on complex assignments such as restructuring, financing, migration, amalgamation amongst others.
  • Work together with the other teams within Delivery, Tax and Compliance on trust matters.
  • Participate and provide input to the performance review and development plan of team members whom he/she has worked with, trained or coached.
  • Ensure protections of information assets of IQ-EQ MU and to abide by the ISMS in place at IQ-EQ MU

Qualifications

Education / professional  qualifications

  • Degree holder and/or related Professional qualification
  • Member of STEP

Background experience

  • Minimum 10 years of managerial experience in a similar role / global business sector

Technical

  • Experience in Trust Administration

Computer / program knowledge

  • Good Knowledge of IT
