Job Description
An entry-level accounting position responsible for delivering basic corporate accounting services under supervision. This role focuses on standardized processes and routine financial operations while developing core accounting competencies. The position handles low-complexity clients and tasks within established frameworks, with emphasis on maintaining accurate financial records and supporting basic financial reporting requirements.
Core Responsibilities and Task
- Prepare financial statements, account reconciliations, and working papers with guidance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all accounting transactions
- Support daily accounting operations by processing transactions, managing assigned mailboxes, performing periodic bookkeeping, and maintaining source documents and records
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including data compilation for periodic and annual accounts
- Support tax/VAT filings, audit queries, and regulatory reporting activities while addressing review comments promptly and escalating complex issues to senior team members
- Maintain quality standards through self-review of all deliverables, completion of required checklists, and independent resolution of routine accounting queries in accordance with established procedures and risk mitigation efforts
Qualifications
Educational Background:
- HSC with strong numerical skills studying for ACCA or ACA or equivalent or Degree holder
Professional Experience:
- Internship or 0–1 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
