Accounting Manager | Hybrid Setup | HMO on Day 1

Job Description

THIS ROLE  

A leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence and team performance within the  
fund accounting department. This role manages a team of accounting professionals, oversees complex client relationships, and ensures delivery of high-quality accounting services. The position focuses on people management and operational efficiency while maintaining overall accountability for team performance and client satisfaction. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO  

  • Lead and develop a team of fund accounting professionals 

  • Drive operational performance and quality standards 

  • Build and manage cluster and client relationships and service delivery 

  • Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning 

  • Direct implementation of strategic initiatives and process improvements 

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management 

  • Establish and monitor team performance metrics 

  • Champion technology adoption and process optimization

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU  

  • You are an accounting, finance, or business administration graduate with CPA license or equivalent 

  • You have 8 years of overall relevant experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, or related field with at least 1-2 years leadership experience 

  • You have a strong understanding of fund accounting processes, regulatory compliance, and risk management frameworks 

  • You are proficient in reviewing and approving complex financial reports and client deliverables 

  • You are skilled in resource allocation, capacity planning, and workload distribution to meet client deadlines and deliverables 

  • You are experienced in leading client onboarding, system implementation, and optimization projects 

  • You are adept at establishing and monitoring key performance metrics to drive team performance and operational efficiency 

  • You are an expert in driving operational excellence and process improvements 

  • You are proficient in managing escalated client issues and fostering long-term client relationships 

  • You are skilled in coordinating cross-departmental efforts to ensure seamless service delivery 

  • You have a strong focus on change management and adoption of technology-driven solutions 

  • You are an effective leader with exceptional people management skills, including performance reviews, career development discussions, and team training 

  • You have an excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with clients, cluster partners, and internal stakeholders 

  • You are results-driven, proactive, and detail-oriented with a focus on operational efficiency and client satisfaction 

  • You are adaptive and resourceful, ensuring team alignment with strategic objectives and organizational goals
