THIS ROLE

As an Assistant Manager within Asset Owner Solutions, you will act as the team’s technical expert and final review authority for complex fund accounting deliverables, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality service to sophisticated client portfolios. You will lead the review and sign-off of fund accounting outputs, drive technical excellence and process improvements, and provide authoritative guidance on advanced accounting matters. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, oversight of data integrity, and leadership in managing team performance, while ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory standards, and client-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform final review and sign-off of fund accounting reports, calculations, and deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards
  • Lead and support the team in handling complex accounting issues, providing technical guidance and driving process improvements and innovations
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including workload planning, meeting deadlines, and ensuring delivery of client SLAs and reporting timelines
  • Act as key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, addressing queries, resolving issues, and representing the team in discussions and meetings
  • Oversee team performance and development through coaching, feedback, scheduling, and ensuring adherence to procedures, audit requirements, and best practices

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 4 years in fund accounting, performance and analytics, financial reporting, or audit, handling complex portfolios and advanced accounting modules
  • Proven track record as a subject matter expert in technical accounting, with experience driving process improvements and innovation
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, statutory requirements, and regulatory frameworks, with ability to apply these in complex scenarios
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong analytical skills, a proactive “can-do” attitude, and ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and lead by example
