Job description

You'll be a vital player in our Funds team, creating value and making a difference to our fast-paced organisation. Every day brings a new challenge so you’ll need to be a team player at heart, with an eye for detail, great organisational skills so you can prioritise your day and sometimes with conflicting deadlines that still need to be met.

As a Team Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivery of high quality alternative funds services to a key Private Equity client, and you’ll have the duty to be a role model for all of the staff across the business. Knowing how to build an effective team by motivating and developing, fostering open dialogue, working collaboratively and instilling trust, through honesty integrity and sincerity and delegating your day-to-day tasks to your team will be your main focuses. Strong communication skills are also a must, to help us deliver the highest level of client service to reflect on our Group culture.

Another string to your bow will be to build strong relationships across the wider business and help us ensure we are compliant with applicable laws and regulations, service standards, company policies and procedures. You will need to have a curious mind and use your own judgement to identify any risks or concerns ensuring you report them in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • The right to live and work in Jersey
  • Relevant degree or equivalent relevant Professional Qualification
  • Excellent working knowledge of IT platforms and applications
  • Experience of the administration and management services provided to offshore funds structures
  • Proven team leadership and management experience
  • Ability to lead the administration team’s operations through good organisation, delegation and monitoring
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development
