At IQ-EQ, it’s who you are that makes the difference. We don’t expect you to know everything on day one, but what we do look for is a desire to learn, as well as personal interests that show how you can bring something different to IQ-EQ.
You’ll have a team around you who have been through exactly the same journey as you. They’ll help you to find your way and make sure you get all the training, support, opportunities and experiences you need from day one.
We take your career seriously. Once you’ve settled in, we want you to drive your own development and take advantage of all the opportunities available to you – with our support of course. We offer a thorough and balanced approach to your development and you’ll get to work in a welcoming and open-minded environment.
We are not a fan of PowerPoints; we prefer learning through doing. We want you to be curious, ask questions and take advantage of our Ascent framework. We want you to be challenged to develop your skills every day. We also want you to have fun along the way. That’s how you’ll perform at your best.
We look for trainees that are keen to learn, who have a curious mind and who want to be the best they can be. There are lots of opportunities throughout our company, and we’ll make sure you feel part of the team even before you join us so you are settled and raring to go from day one.
Our Trainee Graduate Programme, currently available in Mauritius will allow you to develop your skills, and ensure you learn new ones along the way. There are two career paths to choose from, Fund Accounting and Corporate Administration. As soon as you’ve learnt the fundamentals of your role from our experienced and friendly teams, you will have the foundations in place to begin your studies towards your professional qualification.
Our Trainee Discovery Programme, available in Jersey, is a perfect start to your career in finance. This programme allows you to explore different areas of our business over two years. When you’ve graduated we’ll work together to find you the perfect role. You also have the opportunity to take up to three months’ unpaid sabbatical once you’ve finished the programme to explore; maybe you want to travel, learn a new skill or do something different before you settle into your new role.
Guess what, we love students that are keen to learn too. We’ve got plenty of internship opportunities, from three-week to one-year placements. You’ll get to sample life as a trainee, and if you’ve got a great attitude, it could lead to a trainee opportunity once you’ve completed your studies.
It’s a great time to start your journey and we'd love to hear from you
