Job description

Responsibilities 

We currently have a new and exciting opportunity for a Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our recruitment team and provide recruitment administration services to the Mauritius cluster.

Tasks 

DAY TO DAY

  • Manage the recruitment process end to end dealing with high volumes of recruitment activity
  • Develop and drive creative initiatives to build the IQ-EQ brand in the local market
  • Create, update & upload job descriptions and job specifications onto the website, recruitment system and external job boards
  • Manage direct sourcing and attraction strategies to proactively build candidate pipelines
  • Source, screen candidates resumes and job applications
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Coordinate interviews and diary management
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Partner with various tasks, must be flexible to take on ad hoc tasks
  • Manage and maintain SmartRecruiters system ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
  • Ability to work with applicant tracking systems, resume databases, and excel spreadsheets
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
  • Ad hoc recruitment administration duties
  • Ensure protections of information assets of IQ-EQ MU and to abide by the ISMS in place at IQ-EQ MU.

Qualifications

Education / professional qualifications

  • Degree in HR or business-related degree

Background experience

  • Previous demonstrable end to end recruitment experience
  • Experience recruiting into Finance, Fund Admin/Buy-side industry knowledge -desirable
  • Strong talent sourcing skills utilising a number of sources to find the best talent
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Previous background of implementing recruitment strategy
  • Previous experience of equality monitoring processes and procedures

Computer / program knowledge

  • Proficient in suite of Microsoft packages
  • Working knowledge of computerised HR/Recruitment systems
