Job description

The role combines accounting, corporate finance, excellent communication, and analytical business skills. There is a strong focus on liaising seamlessly with various teams and individuals across the business. This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and presents an opportunity for someone willing to take full ownership of various responsibilities and tasks. The Senior Financial Analyst will be part of the local finance team Function. It will represent a key finance liaison for the local business leaders between the Group Operations and the Group Finance, providing financial performance analysis and projections of Client Delivery activities and related transformation programmes. The role is based in Manila, with some potential to travel.

Responsibilities:

  • You will actively analyse results (KPIs) with the local business partners and finance department.
  • You will identify the drivers of these KPIs and know which SMART actions are needed to improve the performance.
  • You have an active role in reviewing the performance and processes within operations, reporting to Finance Director on performance.
  • You have an eye for detecting inefficiencies and the ability to propose and implement adequate solutions, leading to gross margin improvements.
  • You have an active role in business planning & control and supporting the pursuit of business targets.
  • You will be active in organizing and coordinating periodic forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • You have a drive to continuously improve management information systems (financial & non-financial reports, dashboards, etc.) and system optimization.
  • You will support business with ad-hoc requests and specific analysis.
  • You have an eye for identifying business opportunities and risks.
  • Support the implementation of financial procedures and internal controls, including accurate management information.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, preferably master’s in finance/economics
    • 4-6 years of successful professional experience in Business Controlling
    • Highly independent and able to organise tasks with little daily supervision.
    • Highly organised and structured in their approach to completing tasks.
    • Strong communication skills (both verbal & in writing), able to challenge and collaborate with stakeholders on various organisational levels.
    • Analytically focused with an ability to follow through to identify underlying drivers.
    • Ability to delve into details and summarise critical findings succinctly and professionally tailored to Senior Management.
    • Appreciates and understands how operational measures translate into financial ones.
    • Proactively takes ownership of work with a drive for results.
    • Experience gained as a Financial Planning and Analysis function or Business Controller.
    • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
    • Knowledge and affinity for using Power BI, VBA, and other tools.
