IQ-EQ Jersey is pleased to announce a sponsorship of the Jersey coastal rowing team, Girls that Row<\/a>. Founded in late 2021, the all-female rowing team aims to bring together like-minded women to get involved in coastal rowing and gain recognition for female participation in the sport.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Jersey quad achieved gold medals last year in the Welsh Rowing Coastal Championships<\/a> and the British Rowing Coastal Championships<\/a> (female and mixed categories) and accomplished new race records in Jersey.<\/p>\n

Now, Girls that Row are hoping for success in international races. IQ-EQ\u2019s sponsorship will fund the team\u2019s entry in the European Coastal Rowing Championship<\/a> and will cover costs of travel, accommodation and boat hire in the World Championships<\/a> in Italy in September.<\/p>\n

Susan Huelin, the coxswain, is Director, Compliance at IQ-EQ in Jersey. Commenting on the sponsorship, she said: \u201cWe\u2019re absolutely delighted to have IQ-EQ on board as a sponsor. Girls that Row started in 2021 and our squad now includes doubles and singles rowers competing locally, nationally, and internationally. We\u2019re proud to include and support young women starting on their journey as well as experienced rowers taking part in a sport that is going from strength to strength.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nicola Gott, Managing Director of IQ-EQ Jersey, commented: \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to be supporting Girls that Row since their ethos of promoting women\u2019s participation in sport is something we admire. It\u2019ll also be a great opportunity for our Jersey team to meet with the girls as they host a \u2018have a go row\u2019 session, which could see some of our employees be inspired to take up the sport. We wish Girls that Row the best of luck!\u201d<\/p>\n
