{"id":1459,"date":"2023-03-29T07:49:44","date_gmt":"2023-03-29T07:49:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iqeq-staging.j.layershift.co.uk\/?post_type=news_article&#038;p=1459"},"modified":"2023-11-02T08:56:04","modified_gmt":"2023-11-02T08:56:04","slug":"iq-eq-expands-global-footprint-united-arab-emirates","status":"publish","type":"news_article","link":"https:\/\/iqeq.com\/news\/iq-eq-expands-global-footprint-united-arab-emirates\/","title":{"rendered":"IQ-EQ expands global footprint into the United Arab Emirates"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"byline\">\n<h3>IQ-EQ is delighted to announce the establishment of operations in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), giving our group its first physical presence in the Middle East.<\/h3>\n<div class=\"field field--name-field-release-date field--type-datetime field--label-hidden field__item\"><span style=\"font-size: revert\">This move marks the first major milestone in a strategic expansion of the firm\u2019s footprint and service offering in the Middle East, building upon our long-established support for clients in the region.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph paragraph--type--formatted-text paragraph--view-mode--default\">\n<div class=\"clearfix text-formatted field field--name-field-text field--type-text-long field--label-hidden field__item\">\n<p>The\u00a0new office, located in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), also raises IQ-EQ\u2019s location count to 25 jurisdictions worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Group Chief Executive Officer of IQ-EQ,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iqeq.com\/people\/mark-pesco\/\"><strong>Mark Pesco<\/strong>,<\/a> commented: \u201cThe extension of IQ-EQ\u2019s global reach to the DIFC, a leading financial hub in the Middle East, aligns with our ambition to have a local presence in all of the world\u2019s leading IFCs and will enhance the Group\u2019s already-strong global positioning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is significant that the DIFC is evolving as a connecting IFC jurisdiction between Africa, India and the Middle East economies, and given IQ-EQ\u2019s extensive network and client base in the region, we are confident this venture will be a great success.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s announcement follows receipt of requisite approvals from the DIFC and the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) for IQ-EQ UAE to offer a\u00a0comprehensive suite of investor services\u00a0to clients ranging from corporate businesses to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices.<\/p>\n<p>Heading up IQ-EQ UAE in Dubai is\u00a0<strong>Tariq Nakhooda<\/strong>, Senior Executive Officer, who joined IQ-EQ in 2022 to establish, build and lead the new operation. He elaborated:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur initial Dubai operations will assist clients with their local and international structuring requirements, including company and foundation formation and management, compliance services, corporate secretarial and accounting services.
