Much needed supplies for the Aeta community

A few weeks ago, a friend of mine contacted me and asked if I was willing to share whatever blessings I had with the less fortunate.

The donation was for the Aeta communities where some of the people I know are from. They asked for help to give back to the tribe they were in. This is in partnership with Gawad Kalinga where my friend works.

To my friends and I, the funds we shared may be just a month’s worth of coffee and samgyupsal dates, but to this overlooked Aeta community in Nueva Ecija, the groceries, slippers and school supplies we gave them provide light in these dark times.

Thanks to Charmaine Flores for her act of kindness.
