December 2021 marked the 10th anniversary of IQ-EQ in Belfast, but due to covid restrictions we were unable to come together to celebrate that remarkable milestone at the time.
Fast forward to Thursday 21 September 2022, and our colleagues from the Belfast office had a night to remember in the Ulster Museum, with great food, music, Awards and a Golden Tickets raffle! The theme was ‘dress to impress’ and Belfast definitely set the bar high with red carpet glamour in abundance!
To make the 10th anniversary even more memorable, we took the opportunity to celebrate our colleagues who have consistently demonstrated the IQ-EQ values in their day-to-day behaviours, and we were delighted to award the following people:
ABC Awards
Authentic – Diarmuid Lagan, Belfast HR
Bold – Ailie Dewar, Client Services
Collaborative – Tracy Tsang, Internal Communications
Everyone in the Belfast office also got the chance to nominate co-workers who had gone above and beyond and who were generally considered to be all-round GOOD EGGS! These Office ‘Personality’ Awards were presented to:
Rising Star Award – Ben Smith, Client Services – has hit the ground running in CS and is an enthusiastic member of our CHESS Environment team.
Duct Tape Award – Chris Campbell, IT – go-to fixer who puts things back together for you with patience and diligence.
Ray of Sunshine Award – Kerry McAlister, Depositary – supportive, upbeat and enthusiastic in all she does.
Cool as a Cucumber Award – Kirsty Stewart, Client Services – calm, professional and positive regardless of the day-to-day stresses.
Rockin’ Robin Award – Matthew McCartin, Client Services – for his conscientious use of the Robin platform to check in to the office. Regularly!
Special Award and thanks went to Antoinette Morrow who coordinated the amazing night, with invaluable support from Niamh Cheung and Ruth Hennessey.
Golden Tickets raffle raised over £1,000!
Not to miss any opportunity to raise money for our nominated charity, our Belfast CHESS team, led by Tanya Johnston, hosted a Golden Tickets raffle with an array of amazing gifts donated by senior managers in the Belfast office. Their generosity was phenomenal! We raised over £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Well done to everyone! Here’s to the next 10 years and more!
