VAT Officer

Job Description

You will responsible for the timely and correct handling of the day to day specific VAT requirements of the clients, including correspondence and preparation of the returns.

You will prepare deliverables relating to VAT compliance services (e.g. VAT registration application files, VAT returns. You will ensure that the client servicing teams are supported with VAT matters in their everyday work.

You will monitore effective/efficient communication with accounting teams, tax authorities and clients. You will proactively be involve in the development of a centralized compliance team by optimizing client follow up and internal processes.

Qualifications

  • You hold a Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent certification in Tax law, Business Law, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent.
  • You have at least 2-3 years of relevant work experience on the Luxembourgish market in the VAT compliance field
  • You have proven exceptional interpersonal skills that have resulted in business relationships of trust, confidence and top results.
  • You will be comfortable in multicultural environments built on a shared culture of team spirit, mutual respect and openness.
  • You demonstrate excellent writing, communication and presentation skills, including strong writing, research and analytical skills.
  • You show well established organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • You have a proficient level in working with MS Office applications.
  • You are fluent in French and have good English skills
