Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Manager reports to the Regional Talent Acquisition Manager and is responsible for development and delivery of the talent acquisition strategy to support rapid and significant growth across the assigned region within a matrix environment. As a leader, you are responsible for empowering your team to translate the needs of the business and delivering business outcomes in line with IQ-EQ’s growth trajectory and strategy.
Working with the support of a strong team of TA professionals you play a critical role in delivering against current and future hiring plans for IQ-EQ. As a key member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team, you support the implementation of process improvements to optimize the use of existing and new processes, tools, and vendor relationships to ensure the function is delivering exceptional business impact and high stakeholder value. You also partner closely with stakeholders across all areas of Human Resources to showcase a seamless, united HR approach to the business. While leading a small TA team, you contribute to hiring top talent by supporting the identification of talent for critical, highly visible roles.
Responsibilities (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)
- Partner with regional Senior Leadership teams to lead the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies for your assigned region given high growth, change management and expansion
- Overall responsibility for the execution and delivery of the global TA strategy and objectives within the assigned region (incl. alignment and delivery of policy, frameworks, governance & controls, technology)
- Drive best practice within the business, supporting regional leadership with advice, guidance and consultation, training and development, tools and tactics as required whilst working with cross functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation
- Build strategic relationships with internal business stakeholders, the HR Leadership team and other regional leadership teams to continually demonstrate the value and impact of our global Talent Acquisition function
- Build, develop and motivate a high-performing team of TA specialists across multiple business units leveraging synergies and best practice to deliver a market-leading recruitment service adhering to high internal standards and a truly first-class candidate experience
- Continually monitor and review hiring plans for assigned region, drive the development of talent pipelines to help the business hire the best talent for now and the future
- Develop robust sourcing and recruitment marketing strategies to meet current and future business requirements and enhance IQ-EQ’s employer brand position in the market
- Create and foster an extraordinary candidate and new hire experience. Partner closely in the regions with HR to ensure seamless process through hiring; offer management, employment agreements to onboarding
- Partner with HR and business leadership teams and operational management to support in talent management, succession planning and career development processes
- Manage external partners/vendors to track SLA’s, gather insights & review effectiveness for the assigned region
- Use metrics to create KPIs and MI reports and identify areas of improvement in order to support senior leadership decision-making and to agree and implement relevant actions
- Work with the Regional TA Manager to determine and translate our EVP into a strong employer brand that ensures developing and elevating IQ-EQ’s employer profile and reputation within the local markets, attracting diverse and talented candidates in line with the business plans
- Recommend different approaches for ‘outreach’ programmes to build brand awareness and create talent pools in the local markets
- Take charge of planning, developing, managing and overseeing employer branding activities
Qualifications
Education / Professional Qualifications
- Proven experience as talent acquisition manager or similar role
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding techniques
- In depth understanding of selection and assessment methods and techniques
- Proficient in the use of social media and job boards
- In depth knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases, marketing and branding tools
Background experience
- Extensive experience of progressive recruiting leadership background
- Experience in recruiting strategies across multiple geographies with a strong focus recruiting for technology
- Experienced leading and operating within a global, matrixed organization
- Strong project management skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with no hesitation of networking, and public speaking
- Ability to build credibility at all levels of the organization
Computer / Program knowledge
- Working knowledge of various HRIS/ATS systems
- Microsoft Office skills
Languages
- Fluent in oral and written English
