Responsibilities:
• Lead & perform a variety of data integrity & control tasks accurately and in a timely manner to support the ongoing compliance of the business.
• Identify and lead the charge on identifying controls through constant review of mandatory field controls by reviewing weekly change reports to pursue specific data projects that will support the business.
• For any ad-hoc projects, provide a high level of quality, internal client service accurately and in a timely manner.
• Act as Support to any direct line reports and champion IQEQ’s values and behaviours.
• Develop and manage the relationships with registered agents overseas to meet any regulatory tasks, such as beneficial ownership regulations in those jurisdictions.
• Assist your direct reports, team lead and senior management team with the day-to-day tasks within the Regulatory Reporting, Data and Projects function.
• Plan, prioritise and organise tasks and activities efficiently, ensuring effective time management of allocated tasks.
• Assist other members of the business unit where required.
• Support the culture of Change and Continuous Improvement within IQEQ Jersey
• Assist the team to identify risks and development opportunities.
• Complete all mandatory training, drive your own development, and support the development of your direct reports.
• Effectively manage time input
Tasks:
• Drive, develop & review adequate change reports regularly to remediate missing data or identify and develop improvements in data processes.
• Perform any ad hoc projects required to implement new data required within 5Series, or any data management system.
• Take ownership of the data management of the Register of Overseas Entities (“ROE”) and assist the administration teams by having oversight of the annual confirmation process and data management of the same.
• Prepare and scope proposed project plans to include:
o any necessary remediation identified from the regular review of data change reports
o any new regulation locally or overseas which brings new data requirements into scope to the data management systems.
• Drive, record and develop data uploads to 5Series (with our 5Series SME) to enable oversight of overseas agents’ information on beneficial ownership registers across all jurisdictions within the client base.
• Manage and maintain professional relationships with the registered agents overseas in relation to compliance with maintaining primarily beneficial ownership registers, any new legislative requirements and ad-hoc support to the wider team as necessary.
Minimum experience of 3 years working in a data integrity or projects role.
• Strong knowledge of local regulatory environment, with desirable overseas equivalent jurisdiction knowledge
• STEP Diploma qualified or equivalent desirable
• Project management qualification desirable
• Good knowledge of risk awareness, governance and project management requirements for example, Financial Crime and AML, Corporate Governance and Trustee duties
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development
• Knowledge and understanding of the Finance Industry in Jersey
• Minimum of 5 years’ Fiduciary experience
