Regional HR Lead, Asia

Job Description

  • Develop and implement the People strategy for the Asia Region.
  • Act as a business partner to the Regional, Country and Functional leaders on all HR matters and provide practical people solutions to business challenges.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to local HR team and managers on all HR activities.
  • Develop a resource plan to ensure employee levels meet operational requirements and accountable for delivering the end to end recruitment process.
  • Work with Learning & Development team to drive and implement the training and development programs for all employees (including leadership group) across the Region
  • Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll administration to ensure fair and consistent practice in accordance with Group HR guidance and local legislation.
  • Deliver against annual HR budget.
  • Lead on regional talent development activities to ensure that potential is appropriately managed and identified through the performance and talent management and succession processes.
  • Be the champion for employee engagement, driving and embedding the IQEQ culture and values and promoting the employer brand externally.
  • Identify and execute organizational development for the region, including restructures, job changes, cost-efficiencies through the application of good people practices.
  • Ensure the business remains compliant with local employment legislation and immigration law, whilst minimising disputes and grievances.
  • Partnering with a number of HR stakeholders from across the Group to deliver and leverage on networking skills to ensure that the cluster is well serviced, benefits from and contributes to Group initiatives.

Qualifications

  • You have a degree and have worked as a senior HR manager level at prestigious international financial services or professional services firms throughout Asia.
  • You have a proven track record of working with regional leadership in a highly professional setting with colleagues both regionally and internationally, as well as forming partnerships with corporate leaders.
  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, are very hands-on, and have good HR advisory capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and senior stakeholder management abilities will be crucial.
