Job Description

Responsibilities (how we will measure success)

Support the Conducting Officer in charge of the Marketing function - supervision of all marketing/distribution-related business and in the enhancement of the framework

Perform a dedicated monitoring and appropriate reporting of the Marketing activities to the Conducting Officer

Ensure a proper management and coaching of the Marketing team to ensure a smooth marketing process for prospective investors and clients

Ensure a “culture of marketing” and related obligations at the AIFM and at client level

Monitor and assess the impact of regulatory changes

Support in the regulatory projects of the AIFM (i.e. upgrade or extension of AIFM license)

Lead the Marketing/Distribution key-role at the AIFM

Establish yourself as a key-contributor and a people manager

 

Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)

Provide monthly marketing activities’ report to the Head of

Support the preparation of comprehensive written reports on marketing and distribution matters for the AIFM’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors or the regulator

Raise awareness to AIFM staff on the importance of marketing obligations and related constraints

Enhance the marketing framework (oversight control, Initial and ongoing monitoring of the delegates, ensure compliance with the regulation and provide risk report to the Conducting Officer)

Set up and maintain marketing policies and procedures

Ensure the policies and procedures are implemented and appropriate for the scope of activity

Supervise and provide guidance to the Marketing team in its day-to-day activities (marketing/pre-marketing notifications to relevant authorities, prospective investors’ discussions, data room management, assessment of investors’ eligibility, etc.)

Support the Onboarding department in the onboarding of new marketing-related counterparties (i.e. placement agents, distributors, etc.)

Communicate with the authorities in all marketing-related matters
