Manager – Investor Services

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Manager - Investor Services leads the team, provides support to Associate Manager and Investor Services and reviews complex work to ensure the smooth flow in the operations and meeting client's expectations. The Manager is responsible to coach the team and ensure that new methodologies and standards are applied.   

Tasks

  • Train and coach staff on the job such that their skills further develop by reviewing their work and giving feedback for learning.
  • Provide support to the team and responsible for the overall quality of deliverables.  
  • Develop all processes for the department, document the processes and implement them in the given timeframe.
  • Responsible for AML/KYC policy of the Fund and ensures its compliance all the time.
  • Ensure, that new methodologies, standards, new regulations, the correct use of software, are applied. Ensure accuracy of all reportings to be carried out by the Investor Services function.
  • Ensure all reportings both internal and to the group deadlines are adhered to.
  • Ensure that work delivered for clients is compliant with IQ-EQ compliance manuals, and the local regulatory framework.
  • Responsible for Customer Due Diligence documents to be provided for acceptance of the investor and adherence to the internal and Fund’s Compliance manual.
  • Ensure the team is following core business processes as defined and improve such processes on an ongoing basis.
  • Work closely together with the other functions to ensure that all client deadlines and milestones are met as per the plan.
  • Conduct appraisal of team members.
  • Communicate with clients and investors on a day to day basis concerning ongoing work.
  • Review investors details required for FATCA/CRS are complete and reporting is completed in line with revenue requirements and as per agreed deadline.
  • Work closely on matters regarding transfer of Shares, subscription and redemption processes or Capital calls, Distributions and release of contracts or account statements.
  • Deal with complex client issues and support the team where they are having difficulty to cope with client complaint.
  • Ensure protections of information assets of IQ-EQ INDIA and to abide by the all internal or external policies of IQ-EQ Group and IQ-EQ INDIA.

Qualifications

Education / professional qualifications

  • Primarily a Postgraduate with a degree in Law or other professional qualifications like CS

Background experience

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience

Technical

  • An advanced knowledge of Laws and Regulations relating AIFs

Computer / program knowledge

  • Advanced level of capability of the MS Office suite, Word & Excel
  • Hands-on knowledge on investor onboarding Process / Tool

Company, product and market knowledge

  • Basic accounting

Languages

  • Fluent in English
